Peking Gourmet Inn Restaurant Review:
It remains to be seen if it will be like father, like son, but this was a favorite restaurant of George Bush, Sr., while he was president (or at least the one that made the evening news). He had good taste. The restaurant’s signature dish is its plump, juicy, and scrumptious Peking duck. It’s not inexpensive, but every morsel is succulent, and besides, the chef does it properly: It’s carved tableside in the traditional manner. We also recommend the jumbo spring onions tossed with lamb (or beef, shrimp or pork). The onions and some of the other produce is grown at the restaurant owner’s farm. Portions of most dishes are enormous, so count on taking home leftovers. It’s best to come early or reserve ahead; this restaurant fills up fast and stays that way.
