Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse Restaurant Review:

Located on a busy corner in midtown, Pete's has remained a staple despite the influx of newer, fancier restaurants in the vicinity. What began as a simple pizza parlor has expanded into a full-service brewhouse with outposts throughout the Sacramento area. Naturally, pizzas remain the big draw, with choices such as barbecue chicken, Italian garlic and Hawaiian luau. In addition, the menu offers dozens of other dishes. Starters include the popular pizza dough "knots" with dipping sauce, roasted Baja shrimp and sweet and spicy Buffalo wings. Mains include sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps and pastas, as well as salmon with angel hair and lemon cream sauce and Southwest chicken with ancho cream and mashed potatoes. Also available are a number of handcrafted private label brews, such as Pete's Uptown Blonde and Broadway Brown.
