Polly's On The Pier Restaurant Review:

First of all, let's establish which pier we're talking about. There are two in Redondo Beach: the large horseshoe-shaped pier that everybody visits and the small, dingy-looking municipal fishing pier. Polly's is the only business on the latter structure. It's an oddly endearing little spot with good home cooking and friendly but slow service. Local fishermen come here for hearty breakfasts, like a variety of omelets, pork chops with eggs, country fried steak, and an intensely spicy huevos rancheros that is not for the faint of heart. At lunch, one can find a meatloaf sandwich, chili, and a popular crab melt on grilled sourdough with jack cheese. All of the sandwiches and burgers are accompanied by a side of french fries or coleslaw.
