Ru San's Restaurant Review:
A blue ocean-suggestive light casts a glow around the bar, and modern "music" attempts to render a contemporary touch to the atmosphere at this unit of a local sushi chain. Ru San's at the Clear Creek Shopping Center offers fairly decent budget-priced sushi with the usual raft of nontraditional rolls along with other Japanese dishes, including noodles, gyoza and tonkatsu. Lunch presents a very popular sushi buffet that takes in some hot dishes as well. However, the quality continues to slide: bacon-wrapped scallops lacked any flavor. Salad was chilled to the tooth-aching state, and the sea bass on vegetables had a slight fishy note, while the vegetables were overcooked. Good sakés and beers are available.
