Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:
Ruth’s Chris, with its tender steaks sizzling in butter, serves a clientele of regulars and those looking for a special occasion splurge. But it’s not just about steaks; the menu also includes veal, lamb, chicken and fish. Nevertheless, for first-time visitors especially, we suggest Ruth's Chris' hand-cut USDA Prime Midwestern filet mignon, rib-eye (available in traditional or huge bone-in Cowboy versions) and New York strip accompanied by one of many potato selections, sautéed mushrooms or giant asparagus spears with hollandaise sauce. The porterhouse for two is the height of indulgence, ideal on a romantic evening. Crispy and savory New Orleans-style barbecued shrimp is a highlight among the seafood options. Desserts include caramelized banana cream pie. The wine list offers plenty of big reds to complement the hearty steaks.
