Santa Rita Tex-Mex Cantina Restaurant Review:
This folk art-filled café, simultaneously homey and adventurous, is brought to us by the crew who also own 34th Street Café and Blue Star Cafeteria. Start off your weekend right with brunch, where you can savor the signature Mexican vanilla-and-cinnamon pancakes. And when you've had a late night, the hangover breakfast, complete with fajitas, queso and spicy pico de gallo, is a surefire cure. Enchiladas, filled with spinach and mushrooms, are draped with creamy suiza sauce, the result of which is a lunch and dinner favorite. Ravenous diners can count on the bountiful Tex-Mex combination plates that include tacos, guacamole, queso, rice and charro beans. Be careful not to fill up on the salsa before your meal arrives. There's also an outpost at Circle C Ranch.
