Sassafras is an old-timer on Tin Ceiling Row. The interior’s overhead panels create a 19th-century ambience, while the dark wood bar sets the room’s tone. Dimly lit tables near the fireplace create one of the most romantic spots in town for interesting pub grub. A selection of single malts and burgers, including bison and ostrich versions, make Sassafras feel like your father's neighborhood bar, only better. Another option is the steak frites in a Burgundy mushroom demi-glace. Lunch options include burgers, a classic chicken Caesar salad and the Sassy Steak, a spin on the cheesesteak with Brie and grilled onions.
