Seoul Garden Restaurant Review:
Seoul Garden provides a welcome alternative to the usual barbecue-centered Korea Town restaurants with its selection of natural silken tofu simmered in broth and served in a stone pot. The interior of this simply decorated second floor establishment resembles a traditional Korean temple with Korean-style artwork along the walls. Try the combination soon tofu with beef, seafood, shrimp, clams and vegetables, or the seafood soon tofu with oysters, shrimp, clams and mussels. For those palates that seek something spicier, there’s the kimchi pork soon tofu, tofu simmered in a fermented spicy radish broth. A bottle of traditional Korean soju like Jinro, or better yet, ginseng-infused Bek Se Ju, mellows the fire in these dishes as do the Korean and domestic beers. Seoul Garden also offers traditional Korean fare like barbecue and sanchae bibim bop, an assortment of mountain herbs and vegetables served over sticky rice with beef.
