Severance the Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Severance Hall, home of the Cleveland Orchestra, exists in its original 1932 grandeur. The restaurant is decorated in subtle-but-elegant fashion, and it eases concertgoers into a night of world-class music, starting with a four-course prix-fixe menu of seasonally appropriate dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients prepared in a contemporary American fashion. Braised boneless beef short ribs are sided by creamy polenta and roasted carrots, and pan-seared grouper is served over an earthy black bean purée with corn and pepper succotash. Be sure to try the cinnamon apple tart with whipped cream for dessert. Wines are limited but well chosen. Service is attentive.
