Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen, a hip pre- and post-theater restaurant, offers one of the coolest concepts in wine --- order it by the sip, half glass, full glass or bottle. The idea behind Sip is to give diners the chance to try as many wines as they like without the hefty price tag that often comes along with it. There is a good selection of bubbly, crisp whites, fruity whites and buttery whites to get started while noshing on a mushroom flatbread or spicy tuna tempura roll with sriracha aïoli. A classic cheeseboard and raw bar are also popular. For the main event, pair a glass of Walnut Crest Cabernet with the Aspen Ridge hanger steak served with blue cheese fondue. We also like the cider-brined chicken after enjoying a pretzel and provolone fondue. The tender roasted Brussels sprouts and creamy lobster mashed potatoes are tasty sides. For parties with non-wine drinkers, a good selection of beers and cocktails is on offer.
