This casual gourmet pizzeria enjoys a prime location in The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Padded red leather booths, dark wood tables and chairs, and red brick walls add to a traditional New York-style ambience. For entertainment, a Touch Tunes music system allows you to select your own playlist from your smartphone and an eight-foot projection screen and numerous TVs are situated throughout the restaurant. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available in each section of the menu. Begin with the meatballs topped with fresh marinara and melted Parmigiano-Reggiano and mozzarella cheeses. We also like the four-cheese truffled pizza --- a rich combination of mozzarella, ricotta, Parmigiano-Reggiano and Fontina cheeses over a roasted garlic Alfredo sauce, finished with a drizzle of white truffle oil. Create-your-own pastas offer a choice of pasta, sauce and extra ingredients. Since nothing goes better with pizza than beer, you’re covered here, with eight beers on draft and 50 more in bottles. Among a range of desserts, the most unique is the vegan chocolate cake with whipped peanut butter frosting.
