Sloan's Restaurant Review:
If you're not a child when you walk in, you'll feel like one instantly once you're engulfed in this old-fashioned ice cream parlor's playful pink, chandeliered interior, surrounded by giant cookies, candies, and cakes plus a train and other toys. Kids of all ages also like playing with the bathroom door, a disconcertingly clear glass panel that automatically fogs up when in use. Ice cream is the main plaything; the place is renowned for its elaborate homemade flavors, some sensible (vanilla with brownies, caramel, and toffee), some questionable (cotton candy with gummy bears). But even plain flavors are striking, like coffee intensified by crushed coffee bean bits. Portions are large, whether a single scoop or a theatrical meal-size sundae.
