Sonsie Restaurant Review:

Some cynics sniff that Sonsie's longevity is due strictly to its location on Newbury Street, onto which its French doors open to provide a prime opportunity for people-watching. We beg to differ. The frequently changing menu is always fun-filled, featuring indulgences like pan-fried catfish with fried oysters, crab grits and spicy mayo; Mexican pizza with jack, guacamole and sour cream; and a Guinness parfait with Bailey’s-infused whipped cream, as well as lighter options, such as two-bite tuna melts and salads that aren't afterthoughts. Of course, as a major hangout, Sonsie works overtime on the funky cocktail front too.
