Spring Mill Café Restaurant Review:
Tucked away on a quiet side street, about 16 miles west of Philadelphia, the romantic Spring Mill Café showcases local artists along with rustic French and international fare created by chef-owner Michele Haines. Haines, who learned to cook alongside her grandmother in the Touraine region of France, prepares her own pâté and holds unique special events such as a goose-cooking demonstration and dinner. Housed in a 19th-century former general store, the café is the perfect setting to enjoy such dishes as braised rabbit in white wine-mustard cream sauce over noodles and Britton-style bluefish with potatoes, olives and tomatoes.
