Despite the faux Western décor mimicking a frontier barroom---sort of---this restaurant serves anything but rustic, frontier foods: We love its big salads, but most people probably favor the very big entrées, starring pork chops, filet mignon, and rib-eye steaks, plus assorted seafood dishes, served with the kitchen’s luscious basil redskin mashed potatoes or other sides of your choice. The cook also whips up a treacherously delicious white chocolate cheesecake that puts other desserts to shame. One of the notable draws of this restaurant is its microbrews prepared on site. These provide some of the freshest and liveliest beers around---and consequently, one of the liveliest bar scenes.
