The restaurant is a little old-fashioned, with its private wooden booths, abundance of counter seating and no-nonsense waiters, many of whom have worked there for decades. The menu features honestly prepared dishes like a robust cioppino, a flavorful calamari steak and a juicy grilled swordfish steak. Thick clam chowder is available daily. Desserts such as baked apples and cheesecake are as simple and satisfying as everything else.
