Tapas Picasso Restaurant Review:

The warm, sociable environment of Tapas Picasso makes it a nice location for small groups to enjoy intense flavors and interesting conversation. Eclectic paintings lining the walls show the owners' sense of style and humor. We typically order a large pitcher of the not-too-sweet sangría (made from the chef's hometown recipe) and delve into the tapas menu; main courses such as paella, steaks and chicken are available, but for our money, the little plates have it. We never miss the standard potato tortilla, a kind of Spanish omelet with layers of golden potatoes and roasted red peppers served at room temperature, or the deep-fried potatoes with creamy aïoli sauce. Order the whole head of baked garlic with toast rounds and mushrooms. Garlic shrimp, garlic mushrooms and garlic lamb all have robust flavors. Those seeking something lighter might try the chicken in plum sherry sauce, tender bits of chicken breast with a subtly sweet cream sauce. For a little heat, the turkey meatballs come in spicy chorizo sauce. Classic flan is a good dessert.
