Taqueria Guadalajara Restaurant Review:
A trip way off the beaten path to the back of a Hispanic grocery takes you to Taquería Guadalajara, where you can order a burrito the size of a teenager's Reebok. Order at the window, then dive into a plateful of the kind of down-home Mexican cooking that will send you out with the energy to chop a field of agave plants. It’s no-frills all the way, so don’t expect fancy margaritas (beer only), but you will savor pork and beef cooked long and slowly, wrapped in soft tortillas with onions and cilantro, or served with rice and beans that are almost creamy.
