Trailer Park Lounge Restaurant Review:
The main surprise inside this shrine to white trash culture might be just how far the owners have taken the gimmick: velvet Elvis portraits and photos of toothless brides compete for attention on the walls, part of which are made with metal siding from an actual trailer. The front room oozes a cozy lived-in feel, making the Pabst Blue Ribbon-guzzling twentysomethings feel right at home. The menu, not surprisingly, is crammed with classic American comfort cuisine: rich mac ‘n’ cheese with chili mixed in, a better-than-average burger (which comes with greaseless sweet potato fries), and the Sloppy Joe gushing with meaty filling. You’ll also find old standbys like moon pies, tater tots, and---for the healthy-leaning---veggie burgers.
