Uncle Liu's Hot Pot Restaurant Review:
Uncle Liu’s sets a high bar with its lunch buffet offering abundant selections of everything under the China sun. On the other hand, a big attention-grabber is the kitchen's hot pot menu---be sure to ask for help ordering if that’s your choice. For one, the hot pot menu comes separately from the main menu, and you need to request it. For another, the uninitiated may need guidance when it comes to selecting from among the soup broth options: the hot one, laden with chilies and as red as fire, is truly hot. The other option is a clear and mild broth; you can order a hot pot with both in separate chambers. The cookable ingredients range from watercress to tofu, chicken and assorted, potentially unfamiliar animal parts.
