Village French Bakery is a small, family-owned establishment hidden in quiet, residential Kenneth Village in northwest Glendale. The flaky, buttery croissants are popular, in particular the almond croissant with sweet almond cream, almond slivers, pastry flakes and powdered sugar. In addition to fresh bread, the bakery offers all sorts of cookies, single serving size cakes and beautiful fruit tarts such as the apple tart presented in the shape of a flower. A full complement of coffee and espresso drinks is also available. We recommend going early in the day, as in-demand items can sell out, especially on weekends.
