W.A. Frost Restaurant Review:
Any of Frost's dining areas are a good choice, each evoking a Victorian charm that is genuine, not out of some restaurant designer's playbook. Moreover, there is no better place in St. Paul to meet for a first date than the elegant and sophisticated bar. In the summer, the patio in back is an essential experience. The multiple levels, soft lighting and lush greenery make us wish fall would never come and that the cocktails, well-selected wines and interesting beers would never stop flowing. As for the food, Frost serves contemporary cuisine with most ingredients organically grown and-or locally produced. Among starters you might encounter mussels in coconut green curry. Entrées range from salmon with lemon beurre blanc and dill to New York filet with chimichurri.
