Wildhorse Saloon Restaurant Review:

The two-level Wildhorse Saloon downtown offers a menu of comfort food favorites pulled from mainstream American and Southern traditions. You can get Memphis ribs or Texas brisket along with catfish, steak, fried seafood and a bevy of sandwiches. For small plates, your options include wings and quesadillas, while a full-fledged dinner might mean a heavy plate of fried mudcat or a rack of ribs. Among the desserts are Southern specialties such as a banana cream pie cheesecake. The wine selection is nothing special; this is more of a beer and liquor type of scene. It can get a little rowdy inside, especially during a concert --- think country and rock acts --- so this might not be a great spot for an intimate dinner.
