Wiltshire on Market Restaurant Review:
Most of the restaurants in the trendy gallery and boutique blocks of NuLu are easy to spot, but Wiltshire on Market has a tiny, nearly darkened front. The interior, with fewer than 40 seats, is modest, too, though the walls are accented with intriguing works by local artists. Chef Noble Holden creates new menus every week, depending on what local ingredients are available. Typical dishes include a cheese and charcuterie board to start, flatbread pizzas with various toppings (including vegetarian options), roasted and herb-scented chicken or seafood, and braised short ribs. House-made cookies and ice creams are among the sweet endings. The wine list is short and moderately priced, and while the cocktails are good, they seem to take a long time to get to the table. As might be expected from the intimacy of the setting, service is attentive. If the weather is fine, try to get a table on the small patio behind the restaurant; it’s like a secret urban garden.
