Mezcal's Restaurant Review:

This Brooklyn location in the Mezcal's chain offers similar fare to that of its sister restaurants. Which means mediocre Mex in a no-frills atmosphere. Dishes include carne a la tampiqueña, a grilled sirloin steak topped with fried onions, chile poblano and red sauce or a Chinameca fajita of beef, pork and chorizo sautéed with onions, poblanos, garbanzo beans, baby corn and pico de gallo, topped with melted cheese. Nachos come not as the usual edible mountain of goodness, but as individual chips topped with cheese and a jalapeño pepper.
