Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
This downtown branch of the national steakhouse chain features cuts of USDA Prime beef, accompanied by traditional steakhouse sides and a selection of big red wines. The comforting clubby steakhouse setting is pleasantly predictable; refreshing in this era of loud, hip contemporary steakhouses. Although you can never go wrong with Morton’s steaks, seafood selections like the Bluepoint oysters, shrimp Alexander and lobster bisque make excellent diversions. Soufflés must be ordered in advance, and although they don’t measure up to the dreamy confections of some of the city’s finest French chefs, they make for a light touch after a big, beefy meal.
