Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Palm Desert’s outpost of this nationwide steakhouse chain delivers consistency, good cuts of beef, tableside presentation and a skilled staff. Surprises are few, and sometimes that can make for a very pleasurable experience. While aged Prime beef is certainly the restaurant's calling card, the seafood shouldn't be overlooked. King crab legs, lobster and Chilean sea bass are a nice diversion from the beef choices. Consider starting the meal with the baked escargots. Soufflés must be ordered in advance; while chocolate is a favorite, there’s also Grand Marnier and raspberry or lemon options for a lighter touch. The bar proposes a dining alternative for those on a budget with "Power Hour" Sunday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and a “Bar Bites” menu Sunday through Friday from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close.
