Mr. Powdrell's Barbeque House Restaurant Review:
Spicy ’cue, peppery and heavily smoked, awaits at this take-out joint in the North Valley. Don't miss the side dishes, especially the black-eyed peas and the collard greens. The smoked turkey legs are sold at the annual New Mexico State Fair and the big, meaty drumsticks are the first introduction for many to Powdrell's. Try the hot links and the brisket, too, and be sure to order the family's signature peach and cherry cobblers. As for booze, it’s off the table, but iced tea and lemonade quench in classic style.
