The restaurant has been family owned for nearly a quarter-century, and despite the unassuming décor, word has gotten out --- during the lunch rush, the line routinely extends out the door. The Mucho Turkey Plus is a longstanding favorite, with sunflower sprouts, avocado, cream cheese and mayo complementing juicy slices of turkey breast, all barely contained by multi-grain bread. The Southwestern grilled cheese, featuring green chile and a heaping portion of crisp bacon, has even received national attention. All sandwiches come with a free cookie, and hungry patrons can go for the very reasonable Mucho Meal Deal, which includes any sandwich, chips, and a 32-ounce drink for $11. In addition to the hoagies, Mucho’s offers a fleet of substantial salad options, daily soup specials and a barrel of fat pickles at the counter.
