Muldoon's Dublin Pub & Celtic Bar
Hip underground pub with fairly good Irish and American fare as well as live music.
Muldoon's Dublin Pub & Celtic Bar Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Muldoon's has been a fixture at Fashion Island since the 1970s. Hidden inside a brick building with a subterranean entry and cozy, pub-like dining rooms, the restaurant has a menu full of traditional Irish, Irish-fusion, classic American and lighter California dishes.
Food & Drinks: To start, try the barbecue whiskey drumettes, refreshing blue shrimp cocktail, made-like-mom's stew and soda bread, or the banger bites (handcrafted Irish sausages with a mustard dipping sauce). At lunch, there's a burger menu plus entrée salads, sandwiches and crispy fish ‘n’ chips. Dinner brings steak options and more hearty plates like Guinness stout beef stew, bangers and mash, and shepherd's pie. Be sure to pair the berry Irish trifle with a cup of whisky-kissed Irish coffee for a nice dessert. Brunch is popular, as is the live music.
