Museum Cafe Restaurant Review:

Located in the Oklahoma City Museum of Art in the heart of downtown, the Museum Café is a short stroll from the Civic Center. It’s an ideal place for a business lunch, or a dinner before attending the Philharmonic. Beautifully appointed tables and wall art create a big-city ambience. The French-inspired cuisine includes lunchtime’s phyllo-wrapped goat cheese with seared roma tomatoes, a lentil and grilled flat-iron steak salad, pepper-seared tilapia and a grilled asparagus panino with Brie, toasted almonds, tomatoes and basil aïoli. The dinner menu offers several salads, like the duck leg confit salad served with baby spinach, red onions, Gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, English cucumber and membrillo vinaigrette. For main dishes, choose from among favorites such as beef tenderloin with Cognac Dijon cream, grilled quail, or the honey cardamom chicken with a green tea glaze. The lengthy dessert menu boasts pistachio-infused crème brûlée, while the wine list has an array of French and Italian selections. Regular special events include afternoon high tea, Sunday brunch and Thursday night cocktails on the rooftop when the weather cooperates.
