The Natural Cafe Restaurant Review:

Health food purists may lament The Natural Café, which isn’t strictly organic. But when you’re looking for a quick and hearty meal, including meat and fish, that doesn’t come wrapped in a tortilla, this is the place to go. Soups are prepared daily with fresh ingredients, and the daily fish special includes organic brown rice and steamed vegetables. Sandwiches and salads are popular, as are vegetarian entrées such as tempeh tacos and veggie-stuffed spuds. The turkey burger is among the best in town. There’s a nice selection of smoothies --- or a blueberry shake made with vanilla ice cream, and fresh pressed juices. (Soy shakes are available, too.) Friendly, down-to-earth servers match the restaurant’s character. Expect to wait in line during the lunch rush, especially at the downtown location, which sees a fair amount of tourists, in addition to the local crowd of health-minded nine-to-fivers, college students and shoppers.
