Come for the breakfasts, stay for the lunches. A weekend breakfast fave, this super-casual tiny café is truly a hidden gem. Its leafy patio is packed from sunrise to the zenith with young Somervilleans digging through piles of potatoes, eggs, linguiça and homemade bread; try the wheat blueberry cream cheese pancakes or homemade corned beef hash. Come afternoon, the fare is predominantly Portuguese: think big bowls of red snapper stew, broiled catfish and barbecue pork chops. It's nobody's health food --- especially when the kitchen gets salt-happy --- but it's anybody's hearty value.
