The lion statue bookends at the front door are supposed to protect all guests who enter. That’s good. What’s also good is that there is quality in conception and care in the execution of classic Vietnamese dishes such as banh xeo, tom cuon chien (shrimp roll) and ca kho to (catfish cooked in a clay pot). A number of stir-fried dishes too. Not the best Vietnamese in the city, but considering the low prices, it is a worthy contender.
