Nob Hill Bar & Grill
Defiantly non-trendy restaurant and bar in the NW 23rd Street neighborhood.
Nob Hill Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:
Family-owned Nob Hill Bar & Grill has withstood the test of time, as the surrounding NW 23rd Street neighborhood has changed and grown. This spot harkens back to when a microbrew was a small glass of Bud, all lettuce was iceberg, and vodkas infused with fresh herbs were as foreign as aïoli on burgers. Diners come here to enjoy a brew and classic burgers styled the old-fashioned way and served alongside pool tables and video poker machines. Tater tots are a must, and the onion rings are equally retro-tasty. Order the tater tot nachos if you dare. Regulars arrive on Monday evenings for basic meat tacos that sell for 50 cents (cash only). Area denizens gather around the TVs, while visitors often opt for a window table to watch the pretty people prance down 23rd Avenue. Employees from the nearby Good Samaritan Hospital stop by for a bite at all hours.
