THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Noodle Village Restaurant Review:
Every self-respecting casino has one: a noodle bar for the gambler who wants an easy, inexpensive and tasty break from the gaming action. At Bally's Atlantic City, tucked into a corner near the Baccarat Palace Asian gaming tables, is this vest-pocket restaurant, with a menu of savory, steaming and inviting Chinese and Vietnamese comfort foods. Especially tempting is the Vietnamese deluxe pho, a heady meal-in-a-big-crockery-soup-bowl with slices of beef, tripe and lots of rice noodles floating in a fragrant broth. A plate of greens is served on the side, to be added at the diner’s discretion along with various sauces. Shrimp and pork wontons in double-rich chicken stock are another delight. Beverages include Vietnamese coffee, pennywort juice and Tsing Tao beer.
