Ocean Blue Island Grill Restaurant Review:
About the décor: Bathed in aqua blue tones and featuring an immense central aquarium with colorful fish, this Sterling restaurant wraps patrons up in the sense of beachside lounging.
Food & Drinks: Much of the menu --- plus the mini sushi boats scooting around on an inner waterway --- suggests all the glories of seafood dining. From starters such as the mac ‘n’ cheese topped with lobster and crab to the Hawaiian tuna poke salad, and the seafood-packed rolls to the four “island specialty” entrées, the whole experience will make patrons want to take a plunge (after all, there is a splashing pool out on the public patio). But for serious eaters, the focus will be on the ceviche to start and then a plate of fish tacos. The wine list, though short, highlights numerous labels from the West Coast. Many of the beers sound very island-worthy, and cocktails include a coconut vodka mojito and an Applejacktini. To stay in the nautical mood, finish the meal with the layered Keywest pie.
