Ocean View Cafe Restaurant Review:

Ocean View Café didn't get its name by accident. Situated apart from the crowds on a quiet residential street in Manhattan Beach, the café's flowery terrace offers views of the deep blue Pacific Ocean. The inside of the restaurant is tiny, so that’s another reason the patio is the location of choice for weekend brunch. Plastic chairs are clustered around tables topped with umbrellas. From the breakfast sandwiches, opt for the croissant filled with scrambled eggs, turkey, Swiss cheese and avocado. The simple Mediterranean menu also features salads (goat cheese), gourmet or vegetarian sandwiches (chicken breast or strained yogurt with olives and cucumbers), and a few savory starters such as hummus, tabbouleh, and herb pizza. The Mediterranean sampler provides small portions of each. To drink, order a fresh fruit smoothie or espresso.
