THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Oriental Regency Restaurant Review:
For devotées of classic Chinese cooking, this restaurant promises some serious cuisine. Flip to the back pages of its lengthy menu to see why: drunken chicken, mountain seaweed soup and crispy-salty paper-skin chicken garnished with deep-fried mint. The cooking style here is basically Northern and Eastern Chinese. In the menu’s first few pages, you’ll find the usual orange beef and General Tso’s chicken dishes. We recommend the Northern fare, though, and start most meals with the deep-fried dumplings. It’s obvious that the restaurant takes itself seriously: Its décor is more formal than at most local Chinese restaurants.
