Leon’s is takeout only---no delivery, no tables---but that doesn’t deter people from queuing up to place orders. Slabs of spareribs---mahogany in color, substantial in size---roll in and out of the huge cooker/smoker that takes up most of the kitchen area, and the smell alone is enough to make you swoon. Your taste buds take a seat at the tip of your tongue in anticipation of the big event, and they are never disappointed. From one end of the slab to the other, these are meaty, juicy ribs, bathed in a hot sauce, mild sauce or mixture. The chicken wings are good, too, but we’ve had better hot links.
