P.J. McIntyre's Irish Pub Restaurant Review:

Cleveland’s near west side is littered with bars claiming an “Irish Pub” designation, but P.J. McIntyre’s is the real deal. Complete with a gilded tin ceiling, soaring stone fireplace, stained glass windows, handcrafted floor tiles and custom glass doors, this handsome pub is warm, welcoming and anchored, in true pub fashion, by an enormous oval bar. The menu, which is moderate in size, covers Irish basics with boxty, shepherd’s pie and corned beef. Start with the salt pretzels complemented by warm cheese dipping sauce or the Reuben dip with boxty chips. The mushroom and Swiss burger is a more filling choice and arrives skewered with a knife. The all-day Irish breakfast is another top pick, served with bangers, rashers and baked beans. As an added (and appropriate) lure, 20-plus beers are on tap.
