Pacci Italian Kitchen + Bar Restaurant Review:
The Brice hosts this comfortable, attractive establishment that depends for its appeal on a white color scheme with black accents (a black-and-white tile floor) and generous fenestration admitting lots of natural light. It's a good spot for a leisurely, elegant breakfast or brunch on weekends. Good grits and eggs cooked as ordered are a solid foundation for a robust meal. We think the Crab Cake Benedict merits close attention, but be sure to order a side of grits as a companion. At dinner, the offerings range from seafood to pork to steak, while vegetarians will delight in a composed plate of vegetables or salads, although mushroom risotto would make a fine appropriate main dish. There's also a small selection of pizzas for a light entrée. For dessert, check out the house-made sorbet; we like the soothing lemon. Italian and California selections compose the wine list, which is more than serviceable, so you’ll find something acceptable by the glass for most dishes. When you're done exploring Savannah’s historic district, return to the restaurant for some happy hour aperitivo sips and bites in the early evening (5 p.m.-7 p.m. Sun.-Thurs.). Specialty cocktails appeal to either Italian or American sensibilities.
