Pacific Catch Restaurant Review:
In a sprawling room with comfortable booths under large, square, simulated rice paper lights, peruse an extensive menu of Pacific Rim seafood dishes: sushi rolls, rice bowls, fish tacos or a generous crab salad with avocado, chunky vegetables, ginger, shredded nori and a soy-wasabi vinaigrette. The Hawaiian poke trio presents choices of albacore, salmon and tuna with optional chili crust, sesame-soy marinade or citrus aïoli, paired with wonton crisps, seaweed salad and dressed daikon. The "daily catch" might be a barbecued salmon with a salad of marinated cucumber strips. Formal waiters carry in platters of battered fish with chips and offer ketchup, vinegar or sriracha condiments. A blood orange, salt-rimmed margarita is a colorful beacon on the table and the pineapple cake with coconut ice cream dessert is a piña-colada flavored party. Seating also at the bar with sports-centric large screen or outside on the heated patio. Wine and beer offerings are Pacific-inspired.
