In the Keys, locals take for granted brilliant fuchsia sunsets and arriving at Papa Joe’s happy hour via boat---commercial or otherwise. In addition, shiny Harleys and pickups decorate the dusty path out front. Wherever they start, all local roads seem to converge at Papa Joe’s. At this local watering hole and family-style seafood restaurant, a mellow atmosphere prevails. Traditional Keys fare consists mostly of fried local fish. Papa Joe’s also has good conch chowder and a Key lime pie similar to that found in just about every establishment for miles around.
