THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pappas Seafood House Restaurant Review:
You can't go wrong at a Pappas Seafood House, where a vast selection of seafood favorites keeps Houstonians satisfied. Fried favorites, as well as a huge lineup of the freshest grilled and sautéed seafood, are expertly prepared and served in huge portions. Start with an appetizer like creamy crawfish or lobster bisques; cold jumbo shrimp; or the blue crab cakes. In honor of the cultural heritage of the Pappas family, a specialty of the house is the Greek salad, made tableside while you watch. Choose from a dazzling variety of fish dishes based on fresh catches of the day. Check the blackboard for such delicacies as Hawaiian mahi mahi, Norwegian salmon, Maine lobster, Golf Coast drum fish and those local heroes, snapper and red fish. A Cajun influence is found on its own menu of specialties, such as crawfish etouffée, blackened catfish or fried crawfish tails. You can also get excellent prime rib here, and you don’t have to agonize over missing out on seafood if you order the meat in combination with either lobster or shrimp.
