Parkview Kitchen & Spirits Restaurant Review:
Neighborhood tech types (Apple is down the road) come here to enjoy a menu that is predominantly a carnivore’s delight. Standouts among the small plates include “three little pigs,” a collection of house-made sausage, pork terrine and crispy pork belly, and a flatbread topped with pepperoni, caramelized onions and goat cheese. The signature main dish is the ample burger, a huge stack of grass-fed ground beef paired with pork belly, white cheddar and tomato jam, topped with a fried egg and accompanied by crispy truffle fries. The busy bar (the restaurant can get noisy) offers a list of creative cocktails. The wine list, which focuses on California, is well rounded but unremarkable. Finish the evening with a generous dessert, such as the rich cheesecake or brioche bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla bean gelato. Al fresco lounge seating includes cabanas and a fire pit.
