Parm Restaurant Review:
Chefs Rich Torrisi and Mario Carbone’s Parm sandwich shop on Mulberry Street in NoLIta turns out classics like the delightful chicken Parm and the take-no-prisoners eggplant Parm. But such dishes as the calamari, lightly breaded in panko and tantalizingly spicy, are also worth trying. The Saratoga Club is stacked high and loaded with texture, some of it from layers of potato chips. Every evening marks a new special, including “Italian Thanksgiving” on Thursdays and “Chinese” on Sundays. Wine is surprisingly expensive and the beer on offer is mostly of the craft variety.
