THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pasta Pomodoro Restaurant Review:
Need a large and inexpensive plate of pasta to cure the day's ills? Head to Pasta Pomodoro. The gnocchi, coated in Gorgonzola sauce and spiked with diced tomato, is better than preparations that cost twice as much. The dozen or so pastas include penne puttanesca; rigatoni with roast chicken, cream, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes; and spaghetti with calamari, mussels and scallops. The Caesar salad is light on garlic and anchovies, but the big shavings of Parmesan compensate. We like the pasta so much, we forget that they also serve sandwiches.
