Pasta Vera Restaurant Review:

Pasta Vera's fresh-made pastas have always been and continue to be the reason to eat in or take out at this diminutive restaurant. Choices like the classic penne a la vodka with sautéed pancetta, red onion and mushrooms in tomato cream vodka sauce, and cheese tortellini with crumbled hot sausage and porcini mushrooms in a choice of light cream sauce or olive oil and garlic are well-executed and rich in harmonious flavors. Appetizer-size pizzas, or pizzettes as they are referred to here, include varieties topped with assorted vegetables and cheeses, and they serve equally well as a light dinner. Entrées run the gamut from a grilled seafood medley to a fried veal cutlet.
