Pastries a Go Go Restaurant Review:
Décor doesn’t matter at Pastries a Go Go, where the attraction is the croissant and other baked treats. Go early or the day's stash may be gone. Breakfast relies on decent grits, eggs prepared as ordered, house-made sausage, huge pancakes, waffles, french toast and all the trimmings. Nice pain au chocolate, too. Huge biscuits are of the fluffy variety, and on the weekends they may be ordered split and topped with sausage cream gravy (although we thought the sausage was pretty sparsely applied). Eggs Benedict is another brunch-only dish. Lunch is of the sandwich-salad variety, but sandwiches are served on house-baked breads, of which there is a wide variety. Breakfast, though, is the real draw for this Decatur delight. The kitchen closes after 2:30 p.m., so service thereafter is limited to coffee and desserts.
